How it works

One probe in the tank. Fuel data out.

DUT-E uses two coaxial pipes as a capacitor — fuel between the pipes changes capacitance, and the head unit converts that into a precise reading. No floats, no moving parts, no temperature drift.

  1. Drill and seal a single mounting hole in the top of the tank. The probe slides in to your pre-cut length.
  2. Connect three wires — power, ground, and signal — to your existing telematics gateway.
  3. Calibrate in 15 minutes using our software, or load a pre-built table for one of 600+ OEM tanks.
  4. Stream fuel data — level, volume, temperature, and more — into your fleet management platform.

Modifications

Choose the variant that matches your setup.

All variants share the same capacitive coaxial probe and ±1% accuracy. The difference is the output protocol and connectivity.

DUT-E RS-485
Most popular

DUT-E RS-485

RS-485 · Frequency · Analog

Standard wired variant. Compatible with any telematics gateway that reads RS-485 or analog signals. Best choice for most truck and industrial applications.

DUT-E A10
CAN J1939

DUT-E A10

CAN J1939 / S6

Speaks the same protocol as the vehicle ECU. Connects directly to the CANbus without converters, delivering fuel data alongside all other vehicle parameters.

DUT-E GSM
All-in-one

DUT-E GSM

GSM + GPS built-in

Complete telematics solution in one body — fuel sensor, GPS tracker, and GSM modem combined. No separate gateway needed. Faster installation, less wiring.

DUT-E S7
Wireless

DUT-E S7

Bluetooth LE

Wireless variant with internal battery. Data over BLE to multiple devices simultaneously. Eliminates cable runs — ideal for retrofits and theft-prone environments.

DUT-E 2Bio
Differential

DUT-E 2Bio

Differential measurement

Dual-probe differential sensor with fuel-type detection. Designed for biodiesel, mixed fuels, and multi-country fleets. Temperature measured at two points.

Main features

Built for industrial-grade reliability.

Thermal correction

Configurable temperature compensation eliminates ambient-temperature-driven reading drift across the full −40 to +85 °C operating range.

Robust IP69K design

Sealed head with mud filter and bottom spring. Survives pressure washing, submersion, and aggressive chemicals without signal loss.

Field-adjustable probe length

Cut down up to 90% of probe length on-site in under 5 minutes without recalibration. Fits tanks from 350 mm to 1500 mm deep.

Adaptive signal filter

Digital signal processing smooths peaks from vehicle vibration. Self-diagnostics detect sensor damage or wiring faults and report them upstream.
