DFM Marine
High-capacity differential fuel flow meter for marine vessels and stationary heavy equipment. Brass chamber body, NMEA-2000 native output, 36-month onboard battery, IP67 protection.

Built for the engines that move the heaviest loads.
Marine engines run at sustained high load and return large volumes of unburned fuel. A single-line meter over-counts dramatically. DFM Marine measures both the supply and return lines simultaneously — the difference is actual consumption, accurate to ±1%.
- Install inline in the fuel supply and return lines using the supplied brass fittings. The large-bore body accommodates flows up to 4000 L/h without restriction.
- Connect to NMEA-2000 or RS-485 — DFM Marine outputs native NMEA-2000 PGN frames and SAE J1939 CAN, integrating directly into vessel electronics without converters.
- Commission onboard — pre-calibrated at factory; no field calibration required. The 36-month battery keeps records through power interruptions and dock disconnections.
- Stream 30+ live parameters — instant flow, daily/trip totals, engine mode hours, CO₂ calculations, tamper flags — into your vessel management system or fleet platform.

Three capacities for every marine diesel.
All DFM Marine models use the same brass chamber body and NMEA-2000 interface. Choose by maximum fuel flow rate.

DFM Marine 1000
Handles fuel lines up to 1000 L/h. Suitable for auxiliary engines, small fishing vessels, and workboats up to ~300 kW. Most popular for coastal patrol and harbor craft.

DFM Marine 2000
Mid-range capacity up to 2000 L/h. Covers main propulsion engines on mid-size vessels — ferries, offshore supply boats, and fishing trawlers up to ~800 kW.

DFM Marine 4000
Full-capacity variant for high-output marine engines up to 4000 L/h. Designed for main propulsion on large ferries, cargo vessels, dredgers, and heavy stationary gensets.
Marine-grade. NMEA-native. Tamper-proof.
Outputs standard NMEA-2000 PGN frames and SAE J1939 CAN — no converters or protocol adapters needed. Integrates directly into vessel NMEA backbone and bridge electronics.
Marine-grade brass body withstands saltwater atmosphere, condensation, and marine fuel contamination. IP67 protection as standard — suitable for engine room mounting without additional enclosures.
Internal battery keeps the clock and tamper counters running through power interruptions, dock disconnections, and maintenance periods. Consumption and event records are never lost.
Connection size, output interface, and measurement range can be specified per order for larger builds. Talk to a Wagencontrol engineer for multi-engine or multi-vessel fleet configurations.
